M52 scientific journal for 2026

We are pleased to announce that Metallurgical and Materials Data (MMD) journal has been categorized as an M52 scientific journal for 2026 in the field of Materials and Chemical Technologies, according to the decision of the relevant national commission in Serbia.

This recognition represents an important milestone in the development of MMD and strengthens its position within the Serbian research evaluation system.

MMD welcomes original research articles, data papers, reviews, and other contributions in metallurgy, materials science and engineering, with particular interest in high-quality experimental data, modelling, computational methods, and data-driven approaches.

We invite researchers from Serbia and abroad to submit their work and contribute to the further development of the journal.

According to the 2025 bibliometric report of the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, MMD achieved a two-year impact indicator (IF2) of 0.927 (WoS/Scopus-based IF2 = 0.854).
