Dr. Veljko Djokić is a Principal Research Fellow at the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade (extensive profile can be found at LINK). With a strong background in Chemical Technology, Materials Science and Engineering, Nanotechnology, and Cutting-Edge Technology, his research focus involves the synthesis, functionalization, and application of advanced multifunctional materials. His areas of expertise include photocatalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, energy and environmental engineering, and renewable energy sources.
Throughout his academic career, Djokić held various positions in research institutions like the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), and Donico Ltd. His innovative and adaptable nature, complemented by his extensive experience, has resulted in over 80 publications in esteemed international journals and conferences.
Djokić earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Technology from the University of Belgrade, where his research was primarily focused on nanostructured photocatalysts based on titanium(IV) oxide.
